Barbara J. Squier, 76, of Brownsburg went home to be with the Lord on July 13, 2013. Barbara is survived by her husband David E. Squier, to whom she was a loving wife for 40 years. She is also survived by seven children, Rita Payne, Tim Squier, Kim Squier, Rusty Massingale, Tim Massingale, Beth Ainsworth, and Joni D’Amato, as well as Rachel Welch her great granddaughter whom she raised from birth. Barbara cherished her family which also included 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father James Bryant, her mother Myrtle Taylor, two daughters Jo Ellen Massingale-Miller and Karen Sue Massingale, and her grandson Joshua Paul Cope. Barbara will be remembered for her kindness, love, and compassion for her family and friends and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
